Thrifty is a leading vehicle rental company and is recognised in the marketplace as offering customer service, tailored to suit the needs of each individual customer.

Thrifty Northern Territory is a licensee of Thrifty Australia and is represented at every major Northern Territory centre as well as Broome and Kununurra in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

Our modern fleet of over 600 vehicles includes an extensive range of cars, trucks, vans, utes and buses as well as the Northern Territory's largest and most comprehensive range of passenger and commercial four wheel drives.

The Thrifty vehicle fleet is amongst the youngest in the Territory and our passenger vehicles have an average age of just 6 months.

We service all segments of the vehicle rental market from corporate and business travel, through to the inbound and wholesale markets. Of course we also cater for the independent traveller as well.

Previously known as Territory Rent A Car, and now as a licensee of the Thrifty system , we have been established in the NT since 1964 and remains today as the only 100% NT owned and operated major vehicle rental operator. We know our Territory and the vehicles needed to access the best that the outback has to offer.

Thrifty is a partner of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program where members can earn points when renting. Also as a member of the Qantas ANZ Visa and Telstra Visa Card programs, Thrifty provide bonus points to cardholders when they use these cards.
